All done!

All done! Could not be more pleased with the tattoo, and it didn't hurt half as much as I thought it would. Begil was amazing, and the rest of the guys were so cool. Really had a great time. I'm never wearing pants again!

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step

Lovelovelove it!

Weekend?

There are few things on a man that's as sexy as (well done) tattoos. The same goes for women, but that's not really my departement. Still - I just love it when a person puts a piece of art on their body!
Can't wait for tomorrow, super excited to get my new tattoo, and it's all I can think about right now! And the fact that my perception of time is really fucked up. In my head it's Sunday today, just because I ended up working all of last week, and had my "Saturday" yesterday.

So ayways.
Tomorrow is the big day, and I know I'm gonna be exhausted afterwards, so I'm planning on cleaning the apartment, doing the dishes, and making enough dinner for two days, all before I go to bed. We'll see if I'm able to follow through with it, or if my xbox shouths louder than all of it.

Back to normal

Had a blast last night. Went out with two amazing girls, got a tiny bit tipsy and had so much fun. We danced, flirtet and laughed. I even had a guy buying me a drink. It's been a while!
All that fun had to bite me in the ass, and I've spent all day in bed/on the couch playing xbox and sleeping.

I did something productive today - filling in my calendar. It's packed, and that's just school and work for this month. Was planning on hosting a small dinner for the girls, but not so sure I can fit it in anywhere. We'll see.
Oh, and I'm getting inked. Getting an apponintment on tuesday, and allready feeling excited! It'll be my fourth, and probably just as painfull as the rest of them (if not more).

Lastly - these songs are being played on repeat, lovelovelove them.

Marry Me - Jason Derulo

Say Something - A great big world & Christina Aguilera

John Doe - B.o.B & Priscilla

Vertigo - Jason Derulo & Jordin Sparks

There and back again

Byebye Bodø, hello Lillehammer.
As a new year is starting I'm heading back to school, work and everyday life. Can't say I'm a big fan. Never before have I wanted to stay so badly, never has the smell of sea, the crazy winds and the freezing cold tempted me so bad. And yet, here we are.
I'll be home sometime around 1am, and I left Bodø at 8.45pm. It takes forever to get home.

Being home reminded me of everything I love about Northern-Norway, and everyone I care about.
The last night was really weird and amazing. It was just one of those nights were you feel at home.
And that's one of my goals for this year - to feel at home, and to move back to everything I love.

Six months to go, and I'll be out of here!

Another year has gone by

I hope you're all singning, dancing, drinking and laughing, as we wish the new year welcome.
This has been a weird and amazing year. I'm not satisfied  with everything, and feel like there's so many things I should have done. At the same time I'm proud, and content with 2013.
2013 has been the year that finally rewarded me with an BA, an amazing trip to New York, a new job, and a life of my own. But it has also been the year that broke me. I spent three days in the hospital, got dumped, lost friends and almost had a complete breakdown. And yet - here we are. I'll give you a short recap of my year (in pictures, I've been a terrible photographer this year...)

February - Skiing
March - Bodø
March in New York
May - handing in my final paper
Summer - lots of wine

As I'm writing this my mind is wandering, wondering what the new year will bring. Unlike the last ten years I don't have any new years resolutions. I have plans and goals. And my first goal is to have an amazing new years eve!

Happy New Year sweeties

Julaften

As we say goodbye and thank you to Christmas eve, my stomach is celebrating a break from eating and my heart is filled with joy. I'm a sucker for Christmas and this day is the highlight of it all. Family, food, movies, traditions and presents. My family were really happy with the presents I got for them, and that just made my night. I got everything I wished for and feel so blessed. Among other things I got two bottles of Baileys from my brother. That's a guy who knows how to fix a broken heart!
The rest of Christmas will be spent with my friends and family, as well as getting my hair done, and drinking som Baileys/wine.
Have to say - it feels weird celebrating Christmas in Northern-Norway with no snow. Guess that's the good thing about it being dark 24/7, you can't tell!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas eve, and that you'll enjoy the rest of the holliday season. From me to all of you - a very merry Christmas

All I want for Christmas

Cookie in a jar.

It's that time of year again. Running around like a headless chicken to get the last presents, dress, food. You'd think it was the end of the world, based on how much we're buying in December. After three days running from one shop to another, I'm still one gift short. Oh well, that's a problem for future me.
Everyone knows buying presents is all about getting someone something they really want - and no one wants anything. Therefor I've made two suggestions for the people out there who are impossible to buy stuff for:
Homemade body scrub - brown sugar and olive oil. I usually add a dash of vanilla as well. Mix it and put it in a jar. Remeber to put a list of ingredients, you never know if someone is alergic to sugar.
Cookie in a jar - Put the ingredients (the dry ones) in a jar, write down how to make it, and what's in it, put on a red bow, and voila - you've given someone a half made cake. Good job!
