New Year, new life

Well, not really.
But it is a new year (has been for 16 days now), and a lot has happened during these days.

Moved in with my bf, which was a lot of work.
We're still not done, but it's getting there. I mean, it's four years of my life and six years of his stuffed together in one apartment. Starting to realize why people are buying houses... Spent all of last weekend running back and forth, putting up furniture, throwing away stuff that neither of us wanted to keep, tried to decide which books that we'd keep in the bookshelf and so on. It was a long weekend, and something tells me I'll spend a lot more time on this before I'm pleased. He doesn't really care all that much about interior (I think he does), and keeps telling me that whatever I think is probably the best (I agree, hah).

what I want...
Joined a gym, along with the rest of the world it would seem like. Been thinking about it for a long time, and know that I really need to work out if I want to be able to do my job for more than a year... So far, so good. Really need some new clothes tho, can't keep cleaning my two tights every other day.

Other than that life has been pretty normal. Work, friends, family, bf, food. You know, usual stuff.
Oh, and I have no sense of day and night anymore. Woke up at 2pm today, went to work at 2.45, got home at 11.30ish, went to bed, and woke up at 2am. Now it's 4.30 in the morning, and I've decided to go to the gym in half an hour. Just because my body decided that I only needed a powernap. Will probably go back to bed when I'm done, and since I have a date at noon, I kinda sorta have to get up again at 10.30. As I said - usual stuff.

Always wake up after 2-4 hours of sleep and NEVER able to fall back asleep on my days off :(

Fit girls look good naked

Had a great workout yesterday and the day before.
My knees have decided that it's time to say fuck you and stop working again, so I'll stay away from the treadmill for a couple of days... It makes me a tad bit sad, was starting to like running again. Oh well.

Put in an effort to destroy my legs on Monday, and my entire upper body yesterday. Think it worked, everything hurts today!

;)

Just to make one thing clear - I'm not working out to loose weight, I'm building the body that I want.
And this brings me over to this: you've got to work for it! And I'm no expert, I probably don't do half the things I should to get there, but I'm trying.

If you want to loose weight there's a simple recipe: go to the gym, eat healthy and less, drink plenty of water, get enough sleep. And don't give me some bs about having big bones. That's complete bs, and is no excuse.
If you want to build and get everything tight; do all of the above, but lift heavy, eat more (and healthy) and give your body time to rest.

And I'd like to recomend a really great app. It's called myfitnesspal, and you just put everything you've eaten through the day in there and it calculates how many callories you've had (and how many you need). And it takes your workouts into the calculation, so you'll get the right amount based on how much you've burned. It's not all about loosing weight, you can choose between gaining, staying the same or loosing.
A bit of a warning - be carefull, it's so easy to become obsessed with it. Counting every single callorie is not something I'd normally recomend, but I think it's really interesting to see how much I actually need during a day, and how hard it is to not go over/under that number.

Ha! Fact.

So this became a long rant. I'll be heading for a long walk outside later today, need a change from the gym. But first, let me take another #selfie!
