Tomorrow

This is getting ridiculous.
I'm so excited to go home that I'm completely incapable of doing anything.
Spent all day planning all the stuff I have to do before I go, and didn't really do any of it.
I now have a list of things that needs to be done, which in reality is enough to fill two days, and I have about... 24 hours do to it.
And what's my conclusion to all of this? Let's watch a movie!
Not go to bed early, or do some of the shit tonight. Nooo, movietime.
*smacking my head agains the wall*

I have to clean the apartment (all of it), do all of the dishes, pack my stuff, go to the store, have time for a workout, wash some clothes, and have breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Oh well, at least I'll have something to do tomorrow then.

Edit: watched a documentary called Blackfish. Please watch it.

Story of love

"The story of love is not important - what is important is that one is capable of love.
It is perhaps the only glimpse we are permitted of eternity"

Vacation

After spending the weekend at work, I've started my vacation.
Going home in 2 days and 14 hours.
Of course I have a countdown.

Before leaving there's about a million things that needs to be done. None of them are really important, but I like coming home to a clean house and having food in the freezer so I won't starve the first day.
And then there's the packing. Oh lord.
The list is almost done, and there's just so much on it.
Pretty sure I actually brought less for my trip to New Zealand.
I mean... 12 days; that's at least 3 pairs of shoes, 2 jackets, 4 jeans, 2 dresses...
You get the picture

Oh, and I've discovered Dan + Shay. Think I might be in love. Been playing "Can't say no" on repeat for an hour. Ah, good music while pretending to be a housewife is essential.
Wish me luck on that whole magical packing part. This should be fun.

Fairytales

You're never too old for fairytales.
Fairytales about love, dreams and laughter. About happily ever after.
The fairytales about how a prince meets a princess and falls in love.
About clear skies and magic.
Fairytales that tells you everything is going to work out in the end.

Fairytale

You're never too old for fairytales, you just might be too old to believe them
And they lived happily ever after...

All of me

These songs are... there's no words for it. Just beautiful.
Been playing them on repeat for the past couple of days, and just can't get enough.
I'm working this weekend, so I'll pretend that tomorrow is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, all packed into one day. Will be busy relaxing, eating candy and watching movies. It'll be great.

All of me

.

Kiss me

Self five!

So, you know that exam I was dreading and didn't really study all that much for..?
I got a C (which is something completely different i Norway than USA and so on)!
No idea how this happend, but I deserve a self five.

Other than that... Turned in my last papers today, and now I only have 3 more finals, and one oral presentation. When that's over - I'm done! No more school, no more Lillehammer.
The sun is shining, life is good and I'm getting candy!

Fit girls look good naked

Had a great workout yesterday and the day before.
My knees have decided that it's time to say fuck you and stop working again, so I'll stay away from the treadmill for a couple of days... It makes me a tad bit sad, was starting to like running again. Oh well.

Put in an effort to destroy my legs on Monday, and my entire upper body yesterday. Think it worked, everything hurts today!

;)

Just to make one thing clear - I'm not working out to loose weight, I'm building the body that I want.
And this brings me over to this: you've got to work for it! And I'm no expert, I probably don't do half the things I should to get there, but I'm trying.

If you want to loose weight there's a simple recipe: go to the gym, eat healthy and less, drink plenty of water, get enough sleep. And don't give me some bs about having big bones. That's complete bs, and is no excuse.
If you want to build and get everything tight; do all of the above, but lift heavy, eat more (and healthy) and give your body time to rest.

And I'd like to recomend a really great app. It's called myfitnesspal, and you just put everything you've eaten through the day in there and it calculates how many callories you've had (and how many you need). And it takes your workouts into the calculation, so you'll get the right amount based on how much you've burned. It's not all about loosing weight, you can choose between gaining, staying the same or loosing.
A bit of a warning - be carefull, it's so easy to become obsessed with it. Counting every single callorie is not something I'd normally recomend, but I think it's really interesting to see how much I actually need during a day, and how hard it is to not go over/under that number.

Ha! Fact.

So this became a long rant. I'll be heading for a long walk outside later today, need a change from the gym. But first, let me take another #selfie!
